The time spend on BerryAssistant is really very long from what i assume before,but finally,the beta version will be released within this week.
From this beta release y can send sms from desktop PC (sent through your blackberry)

Windows Phone 7 to drop multitasking?

There are lots of news from blog says that MS will not support multitasking feature in the wp7.Honenyly speaking,i don’t believe it. since multitasking is really very useful,There is no reason to drop this feature only because IPhone doesn’t support it.

Glad to hear that MS will release windows phone 7 the end of 2010

From the following link y can see the difference between
4 major smart phone OS:window phone 7,android,iphone and blackberry(why there is no symbian?)

Y may know already that windows phone 7 have a xbox live built in,that means there will be lot of funny games to play with:)

Finally received signing key from RIM.

The support of RIM is really very very slow,it took me almost two weeks to have my signing key work.
Another thing boring me is the develop environment,it’s really very hard to use compared with windows mobile platform.
Anyway,start to debug my app from this week:)

Here are news from me:)
1.Bad news first:Seems there is no published API from apple which allows me to send sms from phone or get sms from phone.so now it’s become impossible mission to have Berry Assistant support IPhone.
2.Bad news too:First release of BerryAssistant will be delayed mainly because i haven’t received the sign key yet from Blackberry.

Maybe it a little bit late to say happy new year:)
Here is my plan for the year 2010
This year i will focus on Berry Assistant,it will support blackberry / IPhone and windows mobile phone as well.
BerryAssitant will support following features:
1.Backup sms to a PC or online(through GMail or hotmail)
2.Import sms/call log to a EMail client like outlook and notes
3.Manage device from PC
4.Support different kinds of connection:wifi /bluetooth and usb cable

BerryAssistant for IPhone will be release before august this year

I am glad to tell you guys that my new software:BerryAssistant for BlackBerry will be released soon.
The first release of BerryAssistant only have very limited features:get contact list from your blackberry and send sms from PC. latter on it will support more features like save sms on PC side.It will support IPhone as well.

PocketExport now support windows 7

I just tested PocketExport on windows 7.
First problem:Can not connect to PC, I can’t find my device in windows mobile device center,disable the firewall
didn’t solve the problem,It finally been soloed by enable advanced network from my device.
Now it can connect to windows 7 without problem,I can send sms from outlook with PocketExport and sync
sms from my samsung I718 to outlook 2007 as well.
Know issue:
It will prompt “error occurred while saving sms” while there is no sms coming.
Still trying to find out where the problem is

How to enable USB Advanced Network Functionality

Sometime y may encounter network problem when sync sms messages with

outlook
using PocketExport.
If this happens on your side,pls try to enable(or disable?) Advance

network functionality.
Y can do it by the following steps:
1.On your Windows Mobile Pocket PC, click on
Start – Settings – Connections

2.Then select the USB to PC and you will see:

check/uncheck ” Enable advanced network functionality” and then

restart your device and try again
Notice that if y use windows mobile 6.5,the steps may not works for

you but i believe y can very easily find it.
